We are always accepting applications for employment in both the bike shop and cafe. We are committed to growing both cafe and bicycle culture in the Syracuse community, and we couldn’t do that without our amazing staff!

Candidates must possess a passion for food and/or bikes, a desire to work creatively as part of a team, and be able to work at a fast pace — all while providing awesome service. We strive to maintain a respectful but low-key and fun work environment.

After a 3-year hiatus, we are so stoked to be re-opening our cafe in our brand new Canal St. location! We will be debuting a new menu (from scratch as always) - including the return of some old favorites. Featuring all-day breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Hiring for all cafe staff, Full- and Part-time positions, open 7 days a week. Possible opportunities available for cross training.

Bicycle Service Tech(s)

We are seeking to fill one or more bicycle mechanic positions as we ramp up for the 2018 season. We work on all sorts of bikes here, from 10-speeds to recumbents and full carbon race bikes. The bulk of the work will be mechanical, but this position will involve ALL duties necessary to keep the shop running smoothly, including: service work, service writing, ordering, inventory receiving, store cleanup, bike building, warranty work, and most importantly, customer service.

20-40 hrs per week. Part-time/Full-time Seasonal hours available, May through October, with real long term potential. Must be available Saturdays.
Only candidates with bike shop experience will be considered for this position.
Any candidate must take direction from, and work closely with the owners to keep the workflow progressing smoothly.

Salesperson(s)

We are looking to grow our retail staff for the 2018 season and beyond! The ideal candidate will have a passion for cycling, be organized and detail oriented, and have the ability to prioritize tasks, and work independently and efficiently. As a small shop, you will be cross-trained for simple service, so a solid knowledge base for bicycle repairs and diagnosis would be ideal, although we are willing to train the right individual.

Duties will include answering the phones, greeting and directing customers, providing knowledge of products and service that the shop offers, inventory receiving and display, customer service, maintaining the appearance of the front end and service area, on-the-spot repairs, bike building.

20-40 hrs per week. Part-time/Full-time Seasonal hours available, May through October, competitive wage + benefits for permanent employment if you’re awesome!
Must be available Saturdays.
Customer service experience is a must.
